All-Purpose, All- Natural cleaner
So today I’m going to tell you about my All-Purpose, All- Natural cleaner that I use on virtually everything.
This recipe includes essential oils because they are better for your health than store-bought harsh household cleaners. Plus, they make your house smell AMAZING!
Household cleaners are a primary source of exposure to toxins and carcinogens. This explains why indoor air quality is often more polluted than outside air.
BUT- these toxins are totally avoidable.
A plant-based, essential oil all-purpose cleaner works on almost anything including food, grease, oil, pet accidents, adhesives, soap scum, and residues.
This all-purpose, all-natural cleaner contains no sulfates, ammonia, dyes, or toxic ingredients and is safe to use throughout the entire household. Glass Spray Bottle
1/2 cup Distilled White Vinegar
2 cups tap water
10 drops Tea Tree essential oil
10 drops of Lemon essential oil
All Purpose Cleaner Recipe
Pour about 1/2 cup distilled white vinegar into a glass bottle.
Add approximately 2 cups of tap water.
Add essential oils of your choice- my top choice is Tea Tree and Lemon.
My other favorite disinfectant blends are:
- Eucalyptus and Lemon
- Peppermint and Tea Tree
- Lavender and Rosemary
- Tea Tree and Orange
- Grapefruit, Lemond, and Lavender
- Cinnamon, Clove, and Eucalyptus
Popular essential oils for air fresheners are Clove, Grapefruit, Lime, Eucalyptus, and Orange,
Popular essential oils for Antibacterial properties include Cinnamon, Peppermint, Rosemary, and Tea Tree. Lavender, Lemon, Peppermint, Rosemary, and Tea Tree also have antifungal properties.
Essential oils can degrade plastic so I recommend to only store oils in glass bottles. However, if you expect to use this cleaner quickly, you can use plastic spray bottles as the solution is rather diluted.
If you need a cleaner with a little extra power, simply add 1 teaspoon natural dish soap. This work perfect for cleaning floors and tiles which get a lot of traffic.
Once you’ve tried this cleaner, I promise you will start clearing out the unused products you’ve been acquiring as you can use this one all-purpose, all natural cleaner on virtually every surface in your home. It works great on mirrors, appliances, countertops, and even sliding tub doors.
I love the simplicity and the great smell I get from cleaning!
